Explaining Myself [status]

Hello faithful readers! It’s been a while, huh?

This summer found me juggling a few bigger-than-expected projects and taking some much-needed time off in places like the Outer Banks of North Carolina:

I also got to spend a glorious ten days on Oahu and Kaua`i in Hawai`i. That’s Waimea Canyon:

Taken together, that meant I just didn’t have the time to devote to blogging that I wanted. But now I’m back, working on getting into the swing of things again, and breaking in a new computer (Hello, Windows 8. RIP, Dell Studio 1747.).

The lack of blog posts did not indicate a lack of blog post ideas. I’ve got a lot of writing to do but here are some likely upcoming topics:

  • New [to me] best practices about using the “title” attribute.
  • Updates to my WordPress plugins (once they’re updated, that is).
  • Tips for clients working with developers and developers working with clients.
  • Plenty of great links about topics including “translating” between stakeholders and estimating project scopes.
  • Some really exciting website launches in early September.

I’m excited to get back to a regular Tuesday-ish posting schedule and I hope you’ll join me by reading posts and commenting to add your own opinions.
