WordPress.org’s “Ideas” section is a tucked-away but important way to submit feedback to the WordPress team. Everyone from a plugin developer to a first-time WordPress user can express their opinions, and I think it’s important that relatively inexperienced users get in on the discussions. The community needs ideas coming from people with all levels of WordPress use.
I’ve submitted my own ideas, but just voting and commenting on other ideas is a great contribution to WordPress. The most popular ideas gain momentum and can actually affect which new WordPress features make it in to the next version.
