It’s more than two months late, but I finally have added 501 Commons to my portfolio. Their site, for which I did the design, launched in mid-December, and I think it turned out great! You can learn more about the project in my portfolio and in their new website announcement.
Though you won’t find them in my portfolio, I’ve also helped build sites for All About South Park, Tibetan Nuns Project, and Northwest Seaport. Those crazy guys from OAR Northwest are at it again too. This time, they’re rowing a boat from Senegal to Miami. I’ve helped them get their expedition dashboard back up to speed for the new journey, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing pictures and reading blog posts from the guys on the boat.
On the plugin front, I’ve updated both of my WordPress plugins.
- Feature a Page Widget got some new documentation and “form validation” to help users understand how the plugin works.
- Post Status Menu Items had a few minor bug fix releases and has an exciting, if minor, new addition coming soon.
2013 is off to an exciting start—am I still allowed to say that in March?—with a very large new client project underway. I’ve started and stopped (but not quite completed) a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which I’ll blog about later, and I’m looking into some volunteer opportunities around Seattle.
To all of this blog’s readers—faithful, occasional, and first-time—thanks for spending some time with me. If you’ve got feedback on the blog and what you’d like to see more or less of, now’s a great time to get in touch with me and let me know.
