The Wildlands Network does continent-wide conservation and “rewilding” work throughout North America. Yet their old website built on Drupal wasn’t the right tool to manage their big ideas and stunning images.
Mark is prompt and attentive to budgetary constraints, and very respectful of the internal dynamics inherent to any non-profit organization.
Complicating things further, the limited features of their old site lead staff to create new websites for specific projects since the primary site couldn’t meet their needs.
MRW Web Design helped Wildlands Network:
- merge their web presences back into a single site,
- support them in reorganizing all their content—spread across three sites—into a cohesive experience for visitors,
- design a responsive and modern look that focused visitors on images of their work and the key information describing it, and
- implement WordPress with training and documentation to give staff independence to make content changes.
Moving forward, the process leading up to the site has helped Wildlands Network understand the ongoing tasks and processes required to maintain their new site for years to come.
