UnSectored.net is a new, multi-author blog targeting people doing cross-sector work–bridging the nonprofit/for-profit/government divide–in Washington, D.C. The site publishes high-quality articles to start a productive discussion about “unsectoring” social change initiatives.
In order to attract guest posters and strong partner organizations, the site has custom author and partner profiles, giving added prominence to those organizations and people who are helping to build support around the site. With a fun design and excellently-written content–for which I certainly cannot claim credit–UnSectored.net is a great example of a “full-featured” multi-author blog meant to foster not just conversation, but a community.
UnSectored founder and author Jeff Raderstrong said about UnSectored:
I came to Mark with some broad ideas and suggestions, and he took those, understood them, built on them, and fed them back to me in a way I couldn’t have articulated (or conceptualized) on my own.
