It’s been a while since I had a full-blown site launch, but, after months of work in partnership with Noise w/o Sound—who did the impactful design and coordinated the site content and awesome photography—I’m happy to show off the new website for Visit White Center.
White Center is an unincorporated community just southwest of Seattle. White Center has a vibrant community full of great events, restaurants, and stores, and this project put all those businesses—many of which are without their own websites—out in the open for all to see. We’re hoping that this site will bring deserving exposure and, in turn, customers to White Center.
The centerpiece of the site is the Business Directory but there’s also a great Flickr gallery and map to show off the 40+ murals and public art in White Center. So anticipated was the launch of this site that it even garnered some media attention. That was a fun first for me!
We’re working out a couple small kinks in the site still (let me know if you find one), but this site feels ready for prime time. If you live in the Seattle area, check out the directory, and then take a trip down to White Center.
